I am in the process of gathering written submissions for a zine I will be designing and editing that asks people within my community to be raw in expressing what anxiety looked and felt like for them during the 2020 year that seemed to last forever. I plan to create community based zines like these on a quarterly basis going forward. I will share the first one here once it's finalized.
I have made many personal, handmade zines throughout the years on a variety of topics. In 2018 I completed a class led by Poet Laureate Joan Logghe, Writing and Then Some: a mixture of memoir, poetry and open studio for book-making and deep play. I designed and published a chapbook during my senior year of high school, too. Most of my zines combine poetry and photography.
