Hey there, I’m Shannon. I’m an event producer and creative curator based in Austin, Texas.

Many of the events I’ve produced center around live music and visual art, and my work often lives at the intersection of arts, culture, and community engagement. I’ve overseen a wide range of projects from lead producing live music and visual art showcases to coordinating sponsorships for large-scale events like a rodeo. I’m the co-founder and executive producer of PietschHouse (peach-house), a creative event production company dedicated to ensuring Austin creatives are seen, paid, and connected in community.

A few things I’ve done include curating Local Imprints: Stories of Place and People for the Downtown Austin Alliance, producing Liz Moskowitz’s large-format photography exhibition A Path of Impermanence for Future Front Texas, and producing a variety of international photography shows and workshops. I’ve collaborated with artists, universities, nonprofits, and fashion brands to bring meaningful and memorable experiences to life.

Previously, I served as a Curator for Future Front Texas and Exhibition Coordinator for The Gallery ATX. I also spent several years as the Managing Photography Editor at Native Agency, an organization dedicated to diversifying the media industry. There, I oversaw global documentary photography projects and helped develop and exhibit work that later appeared in outlets such as The New York Times, NPR, and WIRED.

My work is shaped by my background in cultural studies and creative nonfiction writing. I hold a B.A. from Columbia College Chicago and have received recognition for my artistic practice, including being awarded an artist residency at Château d'Orquevaux (2026) and the Migration Narratives Grant from the Institute for Diversity and Civic Life and the Henry Luce Foundation (2021).
