This five-piece collage series was inspired by the community activism in Marfa around the border wall. Created from vintage photography magazines, old Texas newspapers, a recent edition of The Big Bend Sentinel, and other collected printed materials, these works weave together history, media, and place.

Together, the series examines the political, emotional, human, and ecological realities of the proposed border wall. Through layered imagery the collages reflect on identity, memory, and activism while considering the relationship between people and the land, highlighting the importance of protecting communities, water, and environment.
